Kelsey | 2010 Senior Model

After my consultation with Kelsey, I was so excited to photograph her! For her first model session, she invited me out to her home to capture her cute, country girl personality- it was a photographers dream! I was drooling over the old barn, field of sunflowers and freshly harvested wheat. Thanks so much Kelsey- I'm looking forward to session #2!

Lauren | Senior

During her consultation, Lauren spoke about taking some pictures in a field for her father and grandfather who were both farmers. I could see her beautiful spirit as she talked about her family, discussed thoughts for her pictures and even laughed at my attempts to be funny-thanks for that Lauren ;-) During her photo shoot, her eyes sparkled and she radiated happiness- it was contagious and reminded me {again} why I love my job so much!

Thank you for asking me to photograph you Lauren, it was a blessing!

Life's Ruff

We have a menagerie of pets, a zoo if you will. My family has always had a soft spot for animals: rescuing strays and always having a dog in the house. Seriously, as the movie (Disney) Earth ended and the lights came on, the three of us were stifling our sniffles and wiping away tears!

Haley has been a member of the family for 14 years. She's the chowhound, the "sheep herder" and the loudmouth. This has been a difficult week for Hales since a tumor has popped up on her leg. She's been in and out of the vet, poked and prodded and we still don't know what's going on. Through it all, her eyes are still bright and she hasn't lost an ounce of personality. She's dealing with it much better than the rest of us; animals are resilient like that.

Alyssa | Senior

Alyssa came in for her consultation with two suggestions: she wanted to incorporate music and wear her prom dress. Check and check! She brought the cutest clothes- I'm lovin' the bright colors- and that plaid skirt... So adorable!
